The height of WCOL's popularity. In 1969 this radio station enjoyed more than a 60 share according to the Arbitron rating service, the primary ratings tracker then, and still today.
To put that in stark perspective, if a radio station in Columbus today receives a 9 share that's probably good enough to make them the #1 station in town.
In my new book "Deputy in Disguise" I discuss the success of that once great radio station and some of the guys shown on this weekly Hit Line survey.
